My story isn’t one I would have chosen, but it’s one God has used to shape me. When my husband passed away suddenly, my world shifted overnight. I was left caring for my children on my own—holding their hearts while carrying my own. Fear was real, the weight was heavy, and yet in the middle of that storm, God’s Word became my anchor: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13).

What I thought would break me became the very place God brought clarity. In the silence of loss, He reminded me of His presence. In the ache of responsibility, He showed me His provision. Through the cross, my strength was forged.

And in that season, building Calm Quest Rentals became more than just a project—it became a healing tool. With every step, God used it to restore me, piece by piece. What began as something small for survival turned into a sanctuary of peace, a space where my own brokenness found beauty again.
